Right in the middle of Avenida Diagonal and just a five-minute walk from Paseo de Gracia, the heart of the Eixample district, is Casagrand. Our apartments enjoy a simply perfect location. And it is only a few minutes’ walk away from some of the city’s must-visit sights. Here we reveal the top five.

Casa Batlló

This must be your first visit. As if taken from a fairy tale, it stands in the heart of Paseo de Gracia. It is the best place to start to fill up with the highest form of modernism. The building was built in 1877, but it was not until 1904 when Antonio Gaudí started its complete renovation. Casa Batlló is one of the architect’s most important works and its façade is one of the most popular postcards of the city. Its columns have impossible shapes, the windows are made of colored glass and its balconies play with imagination. Discover the Noble Floor, the attic and the Dragon roof.

La Pedrera

Day or night, exclusive spaces, the premium visit… There are many options to see another of the most famous houses in Barcelona and the eighth most visited monument in Spain. Just a few meters from Casa Batlló, this other landmark of Antonio Gaudí emerges magnificent. Built between 1906 and 1910, it is characterized by its façade of wavy shapes and its famous rooftop terrace crowned by an impressive outdoor sculptures garden. A good plan is to visit the terrace of La Pedrera while you listen to a great jazz concert.

Vila de Gracia

A village in the city. Adjacent to the Eixample grid, this neighborhood is easy to recognize from a bird’s eye view because its streets twist and wind and are filled with small squares. This vila was the center of the old municipality of Gràcia which joined the city in 1897. Today Gràcia is a neighborhood full of life, which overflows with charming places to enjoy a vermouth and terraces for tapas.

Enric Granados

This is one of the most charming streets in Barcelona. It stands out due to its tranquility and its series of lovely terraces filled day and night. Protected by lush trees, this street is perfect for visiting art galleries, home décor shops or enjoying trendy restaurants such as the famous Auto Rosellón.

El Nacional

It has managed to position itself as one of the must-visit places in Barcelona. El Nacional is a gastronomic space that combines impressive architecture, exquisite interior design and delicious food. In its incredible space you can sample traditional recipes from different parts of the Peninsula, always accompanied by the best atmosphere.
